Unit Kegiatan Mahasiswa Tenis Meja Universitas Gadjah Mada (UKM Tenis Meja UGM) is the table tennis club in Universitas Gadjah Mada. UKM Tenis Meja UGM tries to accommodate the students’ interests in table tennis. Besides, UKM Tenis Meja UGM accommodates all activities related to table tennis in the university.
This club was founded by R. Gagak Doni Satria and Irwan Susanto on July 4th, 2000, and was inaugurated by the Vice Rector III. Although the club was founded in 2000, achievements in table tennis in Universitas Gadjah Mada had begun in 1997.
Activities
- Weekly Exercise | weekly exercises. The schedule is available below.
- Evaluation | an evaluation at the half of the year.
- End-Year Evaluation | the grand evaluation at the end of the year.
- Internal Tournament | table tennis tournament for students. lecturers, and staff of UGM
- Fun Time | fun activities for the members of the club.
- Seleksi PBUB | tests for high school students who achieves non-academic achievements and enroll to UGM.
- Porsenigama | the club organize the table tennis tournament during sports and arts week in UGM.
- Gelanggang Expo | an agenda to recruit new members.
- Rektor UGM Cup | a yearly tournament held at the end of the year (around November).
